Essential Skills:- Expert understanding of the Solaris O/S
- Expert understanding of Storage Systems e.g. StorageTek, EMC & HDS
- Proven experience working on Sun Enterprise systems and High Availability solutions
- A solid understanding of UNIX, networking and security
- Ability to solve problems quickly and thoroughly
- Ability to work across a wide range of technologies
- Experience in providing systems support and technical documentation
- Strong inter-personal and communications skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- VMware administration
- Wintel administration
- Understanding of Blade Server technology
- Backup administration
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent
- A minimum of three years Sun Solaris experience
- A minimum of two years storage systems experience
Salary package will be commensurate with experience plus incentive bonus scheme.
